Responsibilities
  • Responsible for acquiring new customers in the defined customer segment.
  • Consulting and supporting new and existing customers in air and sea freight.
  • Creating offers and pricing according to customer requirements.
  • Collecting all relevant customer information for the RFI/RFP/RFQ process and processing it in the CRM system.
  • Preparing all necessary documents for customer implementation and operational handover (SLAs, SOPs).
  • Creating professional presentations in German and English.
  • Planning and coordinating sales events.
  • Continuously monitoring the market and performing relevant analyses.
  • Contacting customers personally and by phone.
  • Corresponding with customers, DHL warehouses and partners in German and English.
Qualifications
  • Completed training as a freight forwarding logistics clerk (m/f/d) or a comparable qualification, such as a logistics degree.
  • Several years of sales experience and product knowledge in the air and sea freight sector.
  • In-depth and up‑to‑date market knowledge.
  • Excellent German and English language skills.
  • Good PC skills (M365, CRM).
  • Customer‑orientated and solution‑focused thinking.
  • Proactive, structured and self‑responsible working style.
