Together with the Hannover Region and Hannover's public transport operator, ÜSTRA, we have been operating the “sprinti”, one of the most successful on-demand public transport projects in Germany with around 130,000 passengers every month, for over four years.

As a Field Operations Manager, you’ll oversee the daily operations of the “sprinti” service in Hannover, ensuring passengers are reliably transported by our drivers. You’ll drive continuous improvements and have a unique opportunity to shape the future of public transportation in the Hannover region.

What You’ll Do:

• Be the core of “sprinti’s” daily operations in Hannover and the primary point of contact for our drivers.
• Take full operational responsibility for day-to-day service and keep key performance metrics front and center.
• Lead the team directly, supporting employees from onboarding through personal development, and manage efficient shift planning.
• Collaborate closely with our central Operations teams to continually improve service quality and actively contribute to process optimization projects.
• Bring your ideas and drive — they’re essential to making “sprinti” better every day.

Who You Are:

• An experienced leader who knows how to motivate and develop teams in an operational environment, ideally with experience managing shift-based staff.
• Someone who thrives on personal interaction and passionately advocates for their team’s needs.
• Calm under pressure, with the right tone when communicating with drivers and external partners alike.
• Data-driven, using metrics as a compass for your decisions.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a strong drive to create positive change.
• Proficient in German (C1 level) and English (B2 level).
• Holder of a valid Class B driver’s license.
