YOUR TASKS

  • Coordinate the architecture and development process of telematic control units (TCU), focusing on Vehicle Communication throughout the product life cycle. Manage the test and validation program, perform defect analysis, prioritization, reporting, and escalation to ensure functionality and quality on time.
  • Support problem solving and debugging to achieve system maturity, stability, and performance.
  • Align requirements, architecture, and implementation concepts with all stakeholders, including car manufacturers and Tier 1 suppliers developing the TCU.
  • Resolve technical problems with suppliers, architects, and software developers.
  • Lead development project meetings and reporting within the domain.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

  • A degree focused on embedded systems, communications engineering, or similar.
  • Experience in developing electronic control units with functions related to Security, Vehicle Communication, and Engineering Interfaces.
  • In-depth knowledge of vehicle communication, network technologies, and protocols (e.g., CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet, MOST, Automotive Ethernet, CAN FD).
  • Familiarity with the OSI model (Ethernet, ARP, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP).
  • Strong Linux expertise in the kernel networking stack (interface layer, network devices, netfilter, iptables, nftables).
  • Experience developing and debugging user-space and middleware components under Linux (e.g., POSIX, systemd, D-Bus).
  • Hands-on experience with SOME/IP, including Service Discovery, in Linux environments.
  • Good network security expertise (IPsec, Firewall, TLS).
  • Excellent team and communication skills.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
