The position is permanent in accordance with the collective agreement for the public service (TVöD Bund) in pay group 12. Depending on the number of applicants, an additional temporary specialist allowance of up to 1,500 euros per month may be considered.

What are your tasks with us?

As an expert, you will be part of a team that further develops and supports our core SAP system. You will make a valuable contribution to ensuring that our more than 7,000 employees can do their jobs effectively and efficiently.

• You will be responsible for one of our SAP S / 4HANA applications in the SD, MM or DRC area.
• In 2nd level support, you take on incidents and technical requirements, which you accompany until they are resolved.
• You accompany change requests from requirements analysis to go-live and contribute your expertise.
• You make changes in customizing and adjustments or manage our external service providers in IT.
• Your tasks require the ability to work independently, thoroughly and in a structured manner.
• Your working environment : An SAP S / 4HANA solution at the latest release level in conjunction with services from the SAP Business Technology platform, supported by Solution Manager and project management tools such as Jira.

We work flexibly and on the move. However, business trips may occasionally be necessary. These trips are usually planned well in advance to ensure a good work-life balance.

What you bring with you :

• Education : You have a university degree (bachelor's or university of applied sciences degree) in computer science, business informatics, geoinformatics, industrial engineering or a comparable qualification. Alternatively, you have a career qualification for the higher technical service.
• Experience : You have at least 3 years of practical experience in IT development and have knowledge and experience in the SAP environment (preferably in SD, MM or DRC). Experience in working with and managing external service providers rounds off your profile.
• Know-how : You have knowledge and experience in customizing and using development tools (ideally with SAP Object Navigator, Business Application Studio or S4HANA Studio). You are very good at understanding processes and translating business requirements into technical solutions.
• Personality : Your solution-oriented behavior, your diligence and your good expressiveness (spoken and written) in German help you to work in a team. You work independently, thoroughly and in a structured manner.
