Experienced Lawyer - Capital Markets

Your role:

  • Work closely alongside the Partners on a vast range of equity capital markets transactions including international IPOs, follow-on offerings, admissions to trading, private placements and other international transactions / the broadest range of primary and secondary international equity capital markets transactions.

  • Advise on capital markets regulation, securities laws, regulatory compliance and related corporate governance topics.

  • Have direct exposure to clients and regulatory authorities and interact daily with domestic and international public issuers, banks and private equity firms, asset managers and other institutional investors, capital markets infrastructure providers and law firms.

  • Assist other Arendt teams with your expert advice where this is required and, in turn, be able to draw on the full range of expertise of the other Arendt practices and be able to provide the best possible advice.

  • Participate in the broad range of in-house and external training programs to develop your legal knowledge and soft skills.

  • Train others and contribute to knowledge sharing activities.

Your profile:

  • You hold a university degree in law, ideally completed by an LL.M.

  • You have gained a minimum of 3 years of professional experience within a clear focus on equity capital markets.

  • You have the ability to think in a logical-analytical way and provide excellent drafting skills.

  • You are fluent in English written and spoken; French and/or German are considered a real asset.

  • You are open-minded, dynamic, flexible and capable of working in a team in an organised and independent manner.
