Expansion Manager Leadership Opportunity

Hanson Search is exclusively engaged to appoint an exceptional Expansion Manager for a rapidly growing technology company. This senior leadership role sits at the centre of the company’s expansion strategy in Germany. Above all, it focuses on driving new business and opening the market across key tech-enabled sectors.

Expansion Manager Role and Strategic Business Impact

As Expansion Manager for Germany, you will execute a full-cycle sales strategy, from outbound prospecting through to deal closure. You will actively secure new clients in high-growth sectors such as e-commerce, fintech, mobility and travel. Importantly, these industries place a strong emphasis on customer experience. You will establish the company’s German market presence and, over time, shape its long-term growth. As the business scales, you will also have the opportunity to build and lead a local team.

About the Company

Our client is a fast-growing French scale-up operating across technology and customer support outsourcing. The business combines a Europe-wide freelance agent model with an AI-augmented support platform. As a result, it delivers flexible, cost-efficient and high-quality multilingual customer support. With more than €20 million raised and over €25 million in revenue, the company continues to scale rapidly in France and the UK. It supports high-growth organisations including Conto, Alan, Decathlon, Stellantis and SNCF.

Expansion Manager Responsibilities and Strategic Priorities

In this role, you will:

  • Own the full sales cycle, from lead identification to pitching and closing
  • Secure two to three new clients per month following ramp-up
  • Generate approximately €45k in quarterly revenue
  • Focus exclusively on new business development, without delivery management responsibilities
  • Define and drive the long-term strategy for the German market
  • Build and lead a local sales team as the business grows
  • Travel to the company’s headquarters in Paris or London for five days each month
Senior Sales Leadership Experience Required

This role is for a senior sales leader with strong experience in outbound sales and business development. You will bring a clear understanding of SaaS and tech-enabled services. In particular, you will have worked closely with decision-makers across customer experience, customer service and e-commerce. You will communicate clearly and concisely. Furthermore, you will demonstrate the ability to pitch confidently to senior stakeholders and close high-value commercial agreements.

Germany-Based Leadership Role and Working Arrangements

This role is based in Germany. Regular travel to Paris or London will be required for five days each month. However, flexible working arrangements can be discussed.
