Are you passionate about building new markets from scratch, owning revenue and driving international growth? As our Expansion Lead France you will be the founder of the French market, launching ahead in France, building traction and scaling growth across digital channels. You will have full ownership of the French business from go‑to‑market strategy to revenue performance, from influencer activation to long‑term growth plans. Working closely with our Hamburg HQ and central marketing teams you’ll play a key role in making France one of ahead’s strongest European markets.

YOUR TASKS
  • Lead France Market Launch: Own the strategy and execution for ahead’s French market from initial launch to scalable growth, driving all DTC activities across paid and influencer channels.
  • Influencer & Ambassador Growth Engine: Build, manage and grow local influencers, creators, partners and ambassadors to drive authentic traction and profitable customer acquisition for ahead France.
  • Performance Marketing & Acquisition Scaling: Collaborate with internal teams to run and optimise paid social, CRM, CRO and landing page campaigns while adapting hooks and creative angles to French consumer behaviour.
  • Market Research & Local Adaptation: Ensure all messaging, campaigns, content, promotions and brand positioning resonate with French consumers.
  • Cross‑functional Collaboration: Serve as the main point of truth for France and partner with brand ops, logistics, CX and product teams to align execution and drive efficiency.
  • Performance Analysis & KPI Ownership: Monitor acquisition, retention and key metrics (CAC, CLV, ROAS, CM3), iterate quickly and report progress and learnings to founders and leadership.
  • Partnership & Channel Development: Explore collaborations, partnership initiatives and retail pilots to expand ahead’s French market footprint and revenue reach.
YOUR SKILLS
  • Entrepreneurial & Founder Mindset: Hands‑on, action‑oriented, resourceful and proactive, with the ability to execute quickly, adapt fast, own decisions and get things done independently.
  • Commercial & Data‑Savvy: Strong analytical skills and comfortable tracking and optimizing key business and marketing metrics.
  • Performance & Influencer Marketing: Proven experience running paid social, influencer and CRM campaigns to drive measurable growth.
  • Market‑Building Experience: 3 years launching or scaling DTC e‑commerce or consumer brands in France, ideally with revenue and channel ownership.
  • Project & Operational Leadership: Able to coordinate multiple workstreams, launch campaigns fast and structure execution efficiently.
  • Cultural & Communication Fluency: Native‑level French, fluent English with deep understanding of French consumer behaviour and digital culture.
  • Industry Background: Experience in DTC consumer goods, lifestyle brands, food tech or social‑first startups.
  • Location: Based in France or Germany and able to collaborate closely with internal teams.
