Position: Engineering Manager (Globalisation Squad) (f/x/m)
Location: Berlin, Germany (Hybrid – 3 office days per week)
Start date: Q1 2026
We’re looking for a hands-on Engineering Manager to lead our Globalisation Squad, a cross-functional team shaping the foundations of the Telus Health app as it scales across regions, platforms, and products.
This squad sits at the intersection of mobile, backend, and platform architecture, ensuring our app is modular, reliable, secure, and ready for global growth. Your work will directly impact how millions of users experience wellbeing — today and in the future.
You’ll lead a group of mobile and backend engineers, working closely with Product, Design, Data & AI, and partnering across engineering, cybersecurity, legal, and compliance to deliver a truly global-ready platform.
Your mission is to build, evolve, and scale the technical backbone of the Telus Health app — making it robust, extensible, and fit for AI-powered innovation, while growing a strong culture of engineering leadership and craftsmanship.
You’ll own the app’s technical direction end-to-end: from architecture and delivery quality, to release reliability, developer experience, and long-term platform strategy.
Hybrid role: 3 days per week in-office
A sneak peek into your benefits:
Please note: our offices close over the Christmas and New Year period for approximately two weeks. We gift the 24th and 31st December as extra vacation days and any additional non-public holiday days during this time will be taken from your annual leave.
We’re happy to consider candidates who already have the right to work in Germany or can secure it independently (for example, through a Blue Card, Opportunity Card, Dependent Visa or so on). However, kindly note that we’re currently unable to provide additional visa sponsorship or relocation assistance.
