Your prospective job:

For our prestigious client Airbus Defence and Space at the location Manching you act as Embedded Software Engineer FCS & FMS (m/f/d).

Your responsibilities:

• Being part of an agile team, that designs, implements and tests safety critical real time software
• Development of embedded applications and low level platform Software for Flight Control Computer#
• Software reviews and documentation
• Design and documentation of software architecture and design
• Support the planning of software increments
• Contribution to design definition and improvement
• Analysis of stakeholder needs and/or upper-level requirements and specification of actionable requirements
• Write requirements in compliance with quality criteria
• Define requirements allocation to system elements
• Manage requirement changes, including impact analysis
• Verify requirements are correctly and completely implemented

Your profile:

• Completed masters degree in computer science, embedded systems engineering
• Professional experience in software development, embedded system engineering and IT
• Very good knowledge in C and ADA
• Very good knowledge of Processors and Processor architectures for Safety Critical Computing
• Experience in Hardware/Software Interface Definition, programming standards and Model-based System Design (data flow and state machine diagrams)
• Good knowledge of SCADE and Automated Code Generation and Requirements Engineering
• Experience with Model-based System Design (data flow and state machine diagrams)
• Hands on experience with safety critical Standards (ED-12C/DO-178C, ED-218/DO-331, ED-80/DO-254) is desirable
• Experience with ARINC 653 based HRTOS and IMA (ED-124/DO-297) is desirable
• High proficiency in English, both written and spoken
• German knowledge would be a plus
