A global biotech leader is seeking a Director of Public Affairs for Inflammation and Autoimmunity in Munich, Germany. This pivotal role involves directing strategies for immune-mediated dermatological conditions, establishing stakeholder relationships, and shaping the external environment to enhance Incyte's presence. The successful candidate will need 8–10+ years of experience in healthcare public affairs and a strong understanding of the German healthcare landscape, ensuring impactful engagement with patients and professionals alike.

As such, we are creating a pivotal role to lead this ambition:
Director of Public Affairs Inflammation and Autoimmunity (IAI)
This position will define how Incyte’s strategy for immune-mediated dermatological conditions is understood, trusted and embraced by the German healthcare ecosystem. It will ensure stakeholder alignment, policy enablement, and long-term market shaping to unlock innovation and access for patients.
As Director of Public Affairs working with IAI (Inflammation & Autoimmunity) Business Unit, you will design and lead the external positioning of one of Incyte’s most strategic therapeutic areas (dermatology), in one of the most influential healthcare markets.
To strengthen Incyte’s leadership in dermatology and support portfolio success, you will shape the external environment by building and maintaining trust-based, multi-stakeholder alliances - including patients, healthcare professionals, media, advocacy organisations.
Your mission is to ensure that:
You will act as a senior strategic partner to the German Leadership Team and a key contributor to Incyte’s regional and global Public Affairs and Corporate Communications strategy.
Build and lead the dermatology and IAI communications strategy
You will define and execute a comprehensive communications and patient advocacy strategy supporting the full IAI (esp. dermatology) portfolio in Germany, positioning Incyte as a valued stakeholder and partner in the German healthcare ecosystem.
