Description

This is an urgent position, so candidates who are available to start immediately or at short notice will be preferred.

In this role, you will be part of the Application Operations and will be responsible for ensuring the stability, performance, and continuous improvement of the msg.Life Factory platform. This role bridges technical operations and application support, ensuring seamless service delivery and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain msg.Life Factory across all environments.
• Handle complex issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Plan and execute releases, including post-deployment checks.
• Track system health and performance (Kubernetes, JMS/Kafka/MQ).
• Manage settings, job schedules, backups, and database links.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and document in JIRA.
• Streamline tasks through scripting and tooling.

Technical Skills

• Must have experiece in MSG-Lifefactory platform, this is non-negotiable
• Proficiency in Java-based applications and web/app servers (Tomcat, JBoss, WebSphere/Liberty).
• Strong SQL skills for diagnostics and data analysis.
• Experience with Linux and Windows environments.
• Familiarity with REST/SOAP APIs and middleware technologies.
• Understanding of database systems (Oracle, DB2, SQL Server).
• Exposure to ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Remedy) and monitoring platforms.
