A leading financial services corporation in Germany is seeking a Data Governance professional to drive the adoption of data strategies and governance initiatives. The role requires strong stakeholder management and communication skills, along with significant experience in the banking or finance industry. You will collaborate closely with senior leaders to ensure compliance with data governance standards and contribute to key Data Transformation projects. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to shape the data governance landscape at a major financial institution.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a central Data Governance team responsible for coordinating and leading the delivery of Citigroup Global Markets Europe (CGME)'s Data strategy. This role will be at the forefront of efforts to drive the BCBS 239 / ECB Risk Data Aggregation & Risk Reporting (RDARR) multiyear program as well as broader internal data governance initiatives, policies and frameworks. The individual will work closely with senior businesses, products and functions stakeholders to drive measurable improvements in data quality and ensure alignment and consistency of approach across Citi. This job requires excellent communication skills needed to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required to guide and influence others, in particular, colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. Accountable for significant direct business results or authoritative advice regarding the operations of the business.
The role will report to the CGME Data Governance Lead.
Opportunity to actively participate in the execution of CGME's data strategy and regulatory priorities, interfacing with senior management, governance committees and multiple senior stakeholders across the Enterprise Data Office and Banking & International data organisation.
