Eltrona is the historic cable television provider in Luxembourg. The company is 100% owned by the Belgian cable company Telenet (a subsidiary of Liberty Global). Eltrona operates a hybrid fiber-coaxial network that can deliver ultra-high-speed internet to more than 80% of households and businesses in Luxembourg.

The company’s mission is to become the leading alternative internet service provider, significantly increase its market share, and transform into a high-performing telecommunications company.

It is in this context that we are looking for a Full time Data Analyst

The Data Analyst will play a foundational role in building our analytics and data ecosystem from the ground up. This position bridges business needs, analytics, and data engineering, and ensures continuity of existing R and Python-based analytical scripts, while enabling scalable reporting and self-service analytics across departments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect, structure, validate, and analyze internal and external data from multiple sources
  • Transform raw and fragmented data into clear, reliable, and actionable insights for business stakeholders
  • Ensure insights are presented in a tangible, concise, and audience-appropriate way to support and influence deci-sion-making
  • Develop, maintain, and evolve analytics assets using R and Python (existing scripts and new developments)
  • Design and build dashboards, reports, and KPI frameworks covering metrics requested by all departments
  • Enable and support self-service analytics while ensuring data consistency and quality
  • Actively contribute to the definition and implementation of the company’s Data Warehouse, starting from a non-existent or low-maturity state
  • Collaborate with IT and business teams to define data models, KPIs, metrics, and data quality rules
  • Identify trends, patterns, and forecasts using statistical and analytical techniques
  • Automate data preparation, analysis, and reporting processes where relevant
  • Document analytics processes, datasets, and assumptions to ensure transparency and reusability
  • Support management and departments with data-driven analysis and ad-hoc requests
  • Collaborate closely with the IT Manager and technical teams to align analytics, infrastructure and data strategy.
Technical and Soft Skills
  • Strong proficiency in R (mandatory) for data analysis, scripting, and automation
  • Good knowledge of SQL and structured data querying
  • Knowing Python for analytics, data processing, and automation is an advantage
  • Experience with BI and data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, Looker or equivalent)
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, KPIs, metrics definition, and reporting logic
  • Familiarity with statistical analysis, forecasting techniques, and trend analysis
  • Ability to design scalable analytics assets aligned with future Data Warehouse architectures
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
  • Ability to communicate complex data insights clearly to non-technical audiences
  • Comfortable working with ambiguity and evolving requirements
  • Autonomous, proactive, and results-oriented

Required and Preferred Experience
  • Experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or Analyt-ics Engineering roles
  • Hands-on experience with R (mandatory) andknowledge with Python for data analysis
  • Experience designing and maintaining dashboards, reports,and KPI frameworks
  • Experience working with multiple, heterogeneous data sources
  • Experience translating business needs into actionable insights Experience contributing to data foundations or analytics plat-form setups (including early-stage Data Warehouse initia-tives)
  • Experience collaborating with IT and business stakeholders
