Cyber Security Architect (m/w/d)
Job Description
- Security Architecture & Governance:
- Define and maintain the enterprise security architecture for IT and OT
- Develop security reference models, standards, and patterns for applications, networks, and industrial systems
- Support solution design reviews, risk assessments, and secure implementation of new technologies
- Advise IT and OT teams on security best practices for infrastructure, cloud, and production environments
- Govern and optimize IT and OT security tools, including:
- Firewalls, IDS/IPS, and network security platforms
- Vulnerability management
- CASB and DLP solutions
- OT security monitoring and anomaly detection tools
- Ensure integration of security tools with SOC/MDR services
- Develop and maintain configuration baselines, policies, and monitoring rules
- Work closely with SOC Lead and Analysts to improve detection and response capabilities
- Collaboration & Enablement:
- Act as a trusted advisor to IT infrastructure, OT engineering, and business application teams
- Drive secure-by-design principles in projects and initiatives
- Mentor internal teams on security technologies and practices
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity with a focus on architecture and security engineering
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud, and OT/ICS security
- Hands‑on experience with enterprise security tools (firewalls, IDS/IPS, vulnerability management, CASB, DLP, SIEM, OT monitoring)
- Familiarity with OT standards and frameworks (IEC 62443, Purdue Model)
- Ability to design security architectures and translate them into operational solutions
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Fluency in German and English as a language of communication
