Overview

Join the Global LT community and help provide lessons to business professionals and their families worldwide. We are looking for a senior Cross-Cultural Trainer to provide customized in-person lessons to our clients in Berlin. The trainer should have both Brazil and Germany as their countries of expertise.

Training details

Topic: Cross-cultural communication training: Brazil - Germany

Location and date: At the client’s office in Berlin on March 9th

Duration: A half day (4 hours) program

Context

The training program will focus on intercultural communication between German and Brazilian leadership teams. The aim is to gain knowledge and build shared understanding around typical communication patterns and pitfalls in this specific cross-cultural collaboration.

Audience

The group will consist of approximately 4-10 senior leaders (Director level and above) from both Brazil and Germany.

Focus areas

• The training should primarily focus on communication:
• intercultural communication styles and expectations
• typical patterns and blind spots in German-Brazilian collaboration
• (optional) practical reflection on real misunderstandings and misalignments observed in leadership interaction (bring their own cases)

Trainer profile

• The trainer should:
• have deep cultural experience with both Brazil and Germany
• be native to one of the two cultures
• have lived and or at least worked extensively within the other culture
• be based in Europe, ideally Germany
