My client is seeking a dynamic CRM Strategist to lead the CRM relationship with one of their flagship accounts. In this role, you\u2019ll be instrumental in crafting and delivering impactful, data-driven customer journeys that drive engagement, loyalty, and business results. Youll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams \u2014 creative, media, data, and global stakeholders \u2014 to ensure communications are personalized, relevant, and strategically aligned with the clients overarching goals. What youll do:
- Lead the strategic development of multi-channel CRM programs, ensuring alignment with client goals and business KPIs (CLV, retention, engagement, etc.).
- Translate insights into action, turning data signals into meaningful customer experiences across email, app, web, and messaging platforms.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams (creative, data, tech, media) to craft integrated customer journeys that blend automation, personalisation, and behavioural nudges.
- Serve as a client-facing lead, presenting strategies, roadmaps, and performance results with clarity and conviction, both in Dutch and English.
- Support new business efforts with CRM POVs, pitch contributions, and thought leadership when needed.
What were looking for:
- 8 years of experience in CRM, loyalty or data-driven marketing, preferably in a digital or creative agency setting.
- A proven track record leading CRM strategy across industries (retail, QSR, travel, automotive, etc.), ideally with QSR experience.
- Strong understanding of CRM platforms and martech ecosystems (Salesforce, Adobe, Braze, etc.) and how to activate them across lifecycle stages.
- Comfortable with data and performance metrics; able to interpret dashboards, propose testing strategies, and work with analysts to refine audience targeting and personalisation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Dutch, with the ability to synthesize complex ideas and present them clearly.
- Experience working in agile and collaborative environments with global clients is a plus.
- Great at client engagement and selling in creative concepts.
- Ability to jump into creative development sprints for quick research deep dives, insight and brief development, campaign sell-in.
- Demonstrated ability to think deeper than traditional marketing to bring a creative opportunity to life through channels like CRM and social media that make creative use of data and can lead to deeper, data-driven knowledge about customers.
