What you'll do
  • Coordinate safety training sessions and maintain training logs
  • Support site audits and data collection in the field
  • Track and schedule employee safety certifications
  • Assist with incident investigations and reporting
  • Monitor job site PPE usage and field compliance
  • Prepare reports on safety performance and trends
  • Maintain safety documentation and SDS records
  • Communicate updates to safety procedures and protocols
  • Provide field support during safety events and inspections
  • Collaborate with Safety and HR departments on initiatives
What you'll need
  • To be 18 years of age or older
  • Aerial and underground telecommunications experience perferred
  • Authorization to work in the United States for this company
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1-3 years of safety program experience or coordination support
  • Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety tracking systems
Physical abilities & exposures
  • Routinely: Complete and maintain training, use keyboard/mouse, lift 10-25 pounds, stand, walk, work alone in remote locations
  • Occasionally: Climb stairs, lift 26-55 pounds, operate vehicles
