Starting in September 2026, we are offering the innovative InformatikPlus study model—a combination of:
Duration of training/study: 5 years
Structure of the InformatikPlus study model:
You will start with one year of vocational training as an IT specialist at the vocational school in Göppingen, as well as practical assignments in the company. You then take a break from your training to complete the basic studies (1st and 2nd semesters) in computer engineering at Esslingen University of Applied Sciences – accompanied by practical phases during the semester breaks. This is followed by a semester off to prepare for and take the IHK final exams, after which you continue your main studies.
