Jobbeschreibung

Job Purpose: We are looking for a detail-oriented Contract Administrator (m/w/x) to manage customer contracts, tenders, and documentation across Europe. In this role, you will work closely with Sales, Technical Support, and Legal teams to prepare, review, and finalize contracts and tender submissions. All customer communication and project tracking will be conducted through Thorlabs’ CRM system.

Key Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

  • Review, prepare, and coordinate customer contracts and tender documents.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders (Technical Support, Sales team, Legal, etc.) to ensure complete and compliant tender submissions.
  • Communicate with customers and internal teams to clarify requirements via the CRM system.
  • Track and monitor contract and project progress to ensure timely delivery and compliance.
  • Work closely with the Business Development team to identify and develop new markets and technologies related to this area.
  • Support complex order processing and maintain clear internal documentation.
Required Knowledge & Skills:
  • Degree in Commercial Law, Business Administration, International Business, or a comparable field.
  • 2+ years of experience in contract administration, sales support, tender management, or a similar customer-facing role.
  • Fluent in German and English (written and verbal).
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to understand contractual and legal language.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proactive, structured working style and ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
