About the role

We’re looking for a Content marketing manager to define and execute the content strategy for MAKE. This role is critical in creating high-impact content that drives awareness, top-of-funnel traffic, and product adoption. You’ll shape how our brand sounds to the world, set the voice and tone guidelines, and roll up your sleeves to write, edit, and publish content that resonates with a global audience of creators.

Responsibilities
Content strategy and planning
  • Develop and implement a cohesive content strategy that aligns with brand goals, audience needs, and business objectives.
  • Conduct in-depth content audits, track content performance, and identify optimization opportunities.
  • Serve as the voice-of-the-customer, embedding audience insights into every piece of content.
Content creation and management
  • Produce and oversee content for blogs, articles, emails, social media, webpages, partnerships and more.
  • Collaborate with designers, and product to ensure consistency and quality across all content forms.
  • Ensure all content reflects the brand’s tone, style, and messaging.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with marketing, product, and customer-facing teams to align content with broader campaigns and customer journeys.
  • Act as a content advocate, ensuring alignment with marketing objectives across departments.
Reporting & Continuous Improvement
  • Present regular performance reports to stakeholders, including insights and recommendations for future content strategies.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, content marketing best practices, and emerging formats.

Content Strategy & Storytelling
  • Strong storytelling capabilities and a flair for shaping narratives that engage and convert.
Communication & Collaboration
  • Excellent written and oral communication.
  • Experience coordinating with designers, marketers, and external contributors.
Adaptability & Creativity
  • Able to shift between strategic big-picture thinking and hands-on writing/editing.
  • Creative thinker who explores new content formats and engagement tactics.
Attention to Detail
  • Rigorous about grammar, tone, and visual alignment with brand standards.
Experience
  • 3–5 years of content marketing, journalism, or digital media experience.
  • Proven success in delivering measurable growth through content.
  • Experience in industries like tech, financial services, or consumer brands.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple content projects, with stringent attention to deadlines and detail.
