What you’ll build

As Senior Business Processes Consultant within our Center of Expertise (CoE) for Procurement, you will deliver high‑impact customer engagements across functional and technical areas, with a strong focus on SAP S/4HANA and SAP Ariba. You will drive customer success and innovation in the procurement area, analyzing complex procurement‑focused business processes and providing expert services to enable customers to adopt and optimize solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive Customer Transformation & Adoption: support customers in their journey toward SAP S/4HANA and SAP Ariba solutions, including design review activities and proof‑of‑concept development.
• Analyze & Optimize Processes: evaluate procurement‑focused business processes, perform root‑cause analysis, and optimize processes in diverse system landscapes.
• Deliver Expert Services: collaborate with internal and external CoE experts to provide remote and on‑site services, system optimization, conceptual planning, and best‑practice knowledge.
• Embrace Flexibility: navigate constantly changing customer situations with high degree of flexibility and adapt your approach to each new customer.
• Travel Requirements: regular travel may be required, with an estimated range of 10‑20%.

What you bring

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years delivering services, projects, or support for SAP Procurement solutions (SAP ERP MM, SAP S/4HANA Sourcing & Procurement, SAP Ariba, and SAP Fieldglass).
• End‑to‑end business process expertise in Procure‑to‑Pay/Source‑to‑Pay, SAP Ariba, and SAP Fieldglass.
• Strong functional knowledge of customizing, setup, and configuration.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities; proficient in programming languages such as Java, C++, and ABAP.
• Technical expertise in SAP systems, integration architecture, ABAP, and HANA Database.
• Business fluency in written and spoken English.
• Proficiency in German is strongly advantageous.
• Proven experience interacting with C‑level sponsors.

Preferred Qualifications and Competencies

• University degree in Computer Science, Business Engineering/Administration, or a related field.
• Familiarity with Cloud Solutions, Business Technology Platform, IoT, AI, big data, and blockchain is a plus.
• Demonstrated dedication to staying current with solution advancements and industry trends; excellent root‑cause analysis and debugging skills.
