  • + years work experience and knowledge of test and measurement industry.
  • Deep knowledge of Electronics, Avionics, HIL, SIL, etc.
  • + years Sales/Business Development work experience.
  • Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal communication skills.
  • EU citizenship and willingness to travel within Europe.

The Emerson T&M (Test & Measurement) Aerospace Defense and Government Business Unit (ADG BU) Business Manager (BM) is a highly visible and unique position which requires deep Aerospace & Defense Domain knowledge, market trends, deep understanding of BU direction, target customers and tight connection/interface with European Aerospace & Defence ecosystem and partners. A successful ADG BU BM is the owner of BU strategy implementation, including leveraging industry & NI knowledge to position NI value to customers and differentiation from competition, leading cross-functional teams for business planning and execution to drive business growth, integrating account/domain feedback/direction to improve current & future BU solutions/direction.

Responsibilities

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Increase Account Alignment between BU & Account Teams.
  • Understand the Aerospace & Defence ecosystem, key accounts and related competition in target market segments.
  • Build credit as critical business advisor for account teams through providing business & technology domain expertise and increasing customer confidence
  • Build long term strategic relationship with key customers and industry experts
  • Support Account Teams to maximize BU Complex Solutions reach and drive efficiency across functions to win strategic deals and scale business
  • Understand ROI for the engagements (BU, Sales, Support, Services, Partners), manage scope of committed work & represent business need across NI
  • Integrate Regional Account/Industry feedback to improve current & future BU Solutions/direction.

For This Role, You Will Need
  • Graduate degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math)
  • + years total work experience in Aerospace & Defense industry

  • + years total work experience and knowledge of relevant test and measurement industry
  • Deep knowledge of Electronics, LRU’s, Avionics, HIL, SIL, etc.
  • + years Sales/Business Development work experience
  • Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal communication skill with fluency in English and German.
  • EU citizenship as well as willing and able to travel within Europe as required.
