Business Developer

What is the role
  • Ensure Simdle’s growth in selected target markets through the identification of niches, with a particular emphasis on market research and niche analysis
  • Own and lead Simdle’s business development effort mainly in the German-speaking DACH region but also beyond
  • Collaborate and instruct our inbound and outbound lead generation efforts in the area with a our marketing team
  • Be on top of all relevant procurement in the industry and target markets and place Simdle as a frontrunning candidate in these
  • Coordinate and collaborate with other teams for presentations, procurements, or submissions
  • Increase Simdle’s visibility and presence in our target market and create partnerships with relevant distribution partners
  • Represent Simdle at main fairs and events in the industry
  • Be an expert of Simdle’s platform, run demo’s and resolve clients' questions also by visiting them on site
Who you are
  • You have a winner mentality
  • You bring 2–4years of experience in sales or business development, ideally bridging both the SaaS and automotive sectors
  • A natural and trustworthy listener with profound people skills who knows to run smooth demo’s, solve client’s needs, and address their objections
  • A well‑organised facilitator who solves problems and translates clients’ needs into tangible actions for marketing, project, and IT team
  • A self‑learner and curious person who loves the challenge of matching clients’ requests with our solution
  • Proactive and outgoing communicator who enjoys social media, conferences, round tables, etc. to engage with the market
  • Native German‑speaker, highly fluent in English, any other European language is a plus, in particular French or Dutch
  • You hold a Bachelor’s or comparable degree, further degrees are a plus
  • A network in the automotive industry that serves as a head‑start is highly valued
