We are looking for a talented Business Application Specialist – Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) to join our IT team to support and enhance our business-critical applications across R&D, Quality, and Marketing. In this role, you’ll work closely with the Group Solution Owner – I2M to implement, optimize, and support key platforms such as PLM, CRM, and Design to Print (D2P). Your work will directly contribute to Intersnack’s continued growth as a global leader in the food industry.

How you will spend your time as our next Business Application Specialist – Idea to Market:

As our new Business Application Specialist – Product Lifecycle Management (internally Business Application Specialist – Idea to Market), your initial focus will be to support the Infor Optiva PLM Scope Project. Over time, you’ll take ownership of a broader portfolio of applications, ensuring they evolve in line with business needs. You will:

  • Provide hands-on support for the Infor PLM for Process (Optiva) rollout.
  • Manage and improve existing applications, including Oracle Agile PLM, Wave D2P and Infor CRM in the Consumer Response & Crisis Management area.
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications and configuration documents.
  • Coordinate monthly cloud releases and manage upgrade cycles.
  • Lead and support System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Deliver daily operational support and troubleshoot application issues.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation aligned with IT standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement through system roadmaps and process optimisation.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to validate and enhance workflows.
What we expect of you:
  • Solid understanding of the Idea to Market process and hands-on experience with PLM and/or D2P systems (e.g., Wave).
  • CRM knowledge is a plus.
  • Proven experience across the full application lifecycle, from requirements gathering to post-go-live support.
  • Experience in global, multi-phase implementation projects is a plus.
  • Ability to work effectively in a complex collaborative, matrix environment with virtual teams in a multi-cultural / geographically diverse environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the capacity for mature judgment in challenging situations.
  • A strong command of spoken and written English is a must, and knowledge of German is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for rollouts and team workshops.
