The Business Analyst will play a critical role in driving strategic decision-making across our investment, asset management, and operations teams. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, financial acumen, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights that directly impact investment performance. The ideal candidate is comfortable working remotely, managing multiple priorities, and collaborating with stakeholders across business units.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze financial, operational, and market data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities in real estate investments.
- Partner with investment and asset management teams to build business cases, financial models, and scenario analyses for acquisitions, dispositions, and portfolio optimization.
- Design and deliver dashboards, reports, and presentations that support leadership in making informed investment and operational decisions.
- Evaluate KPIs across the portfolio, recommending improvements to maximize returns and operational efficiency.
- Gather business requirements and translate them into solutions for process improvement, reporting automation, and technology adoption.
- Conduct market research on real estate trends, competitor activity, and emerging investment opportunities.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term strategic planning initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (finance, technology, operations) to align on project objectives and deliverables.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Real Estate, or related field (Master’s degree a plus).
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within real estate investment, private equity, asset management, or financial services.
- Strong financial modeling and quantitative analysis skills.
- Proficiency with Excel, Power BI/Tableau (or other BI tools), and database systems.
- Knowledge of real estate investment fundamentals (valuation, cap rates, IRR, market analysis).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to simplify complex data for executive stakeholders.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
