You will directly report to the Head of the Global Program and play a crucial role in shaping and executing our strategic vision for AON’s future operations.

What you’ll do
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a diverse team of Business Analysts, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Oversee the delivery of business analysis and requirements engineering activities across multiple workstreams, ensuring alignment with program objectives and business strategy.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for senior business and IT stakeholders, facilitating effective communication and managing expectations at all levels.
  • Drive the development and implementation of best-practice business analysis methodologies, tools, and standards.
  • Ensure comprehensive requirements gathering, process mapping, and solution design.
  • Provide expert guidance on commercial insurance processes, leveraging your industry knowledge to influence decisions and drive effective outcomes.
  • Support change management activities to ensure successful adoption of new systems, processes, and ways of working.
  • Monitor and report on progress, risks, and issues, proactively addressing challenges to deliver successful outcomes.
Skills and experience for success
  • Extensive experience (15+ years) in business analysis and requirements engineering, with significant leadership responsibility in large, international transformation programs — preferably within commercial insurance.
  • Deep understanding of insurance concepts, IT products / applications, and operations, with proven ability to translate business needs into effective solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop teams, including performance management and professional development.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with experience engaging and securing buy-in from senior business and IT stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities, able to see the “big picture” while managing detailed requirements.
  • Self-starter with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, global environment.
  • Previous hands-on experience as a Business Analyst and relevant professional certification (e.g., CBAP) is a strong plus.
  • Proficiency in project delivery, business analysis tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Visio).
  • Fluent in English (essential); proficiency in additional European languages (Dutch, German, Spanish, French, Flemish) is an advantage.

Besides flexible working hours, 30 days’ annual leave and an extensive package of benefits, you can expect flat hierarchies, opportunities for personal development and a comprehensive range of company sports on offer.

We promote an inclusive corporate culture and are committed to creating equal opportunities and treating one another with respect. We welcome all applications irrespective of ethnic origin, age, gender, disability, sexual identity, religion or belief.

We look forward to meeting you!
