Qualifikationen

We are looking for a skilled Bioinformatics Software Engineerto join our clients dynamic team. This role is an opportunity to collaborate with multidisciplinary experts and contribute to innovative immunotherapy research aimed at tackling cancer and other diseases.

Your Role:
  • Develop and maintain software tools and reproducible end-to-end workflows for analyzing complex biological datasets, including high-throughput sequencing data.

  • Work closely with scientists, engineers, and technicians to design and implement computational analysis pipelines for research data.

  • Benchmark and systematically test both internal and public detection pipelines using experimental validation data.

  • Provide guidance and support to PhD students, engineers, and researchers in best practices for reproducible data science and high-performance computing workflows.

  • Contribute to the development of advanced AI-driven predictive models for immuno-genomics in collaboration with computational scientists.

What You Bring:
  • A Master's degree in Bioinformatics, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • Minimum of two years' experience in software development, scientific computing, or a similar domain.

  • Strong programming skills in Python; experience with additional languages like R, Java, or Rust is beneficial.

  • Experience in Workflow Managers such as Snakemake and Nextflow.

  • Knowledge of big data processing tools (Dask, Spark, Arrow) and machine learning libraries (Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).

  • Familiarity with structured software development principles, including version control, testing, and continuous integration.

  • Hands-on experience with Linux-based computing environments, job schedulers, and workflow management tools.
