Overview

Our client, currently expanding in Europe, is establishing a brand-new office in Cloche d\'Or. With more than 20 years of history, this international financial institution specializes in Non-Performing Loans (NPL) and debt recovery.

With total flexibility and more than 3 days per week of homeworking for Luxembourgish residents, you will support this growth as their new Financial Supervisor who will play a pivotal role in shaping and managing the local finance function.

This is a high-impact, hands-on position where you will not only oversee financial operations but also actively review fiduciary work, finalize statutory accounts, and coordinate closely with the London headquarters and other European entities. Your voice will also matter in any future recruitment!

Financial Supervisor - Your responsibilities :

• Manage and coordinate all financial operations for the Luxembourg office.
• Oversee and review the work performed by fiduciaries (accounting, tax, and reporting).
• Prepare and finalize statutory financial statements under Lux GAAP and IFRS.
• Ensure timely and accurate consolidation reporting to London HQ and European finance teams.
• Supervise audits, tax compliance, and regulatory requirements.
• Implement process improvements and analytical tools to strengthen financial control.
• Act as the primary point of contact for external providers, auditors, regulators, and group stakeholders.
• Support group-wide initiatives and projects at both Luxembourg and European levels.

Financial Supervisor - Your profile :

• At least 5 to 7 years of professional experience in finance, controlling, or audit in Luxembourg.
• Prior experience with NPLs (Non-Performing Loans) is a strong asset.
• A Big 4 background or similar exposure to audit / accounting firms is a plus.
• Hands-on approach with the ability to both execute and oversee financial processes.
• Fluent in English; other languages are an advantage.
