Your mission

We are looking for an experienced and talented Engineering Manager to join our dynamic team.

As an Engineering Manager at Mercanis, you will be responsible for leading two vertical teams of talented engineers, working on cutting-edge technology and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality web applications and services.

You will collaborate closely with the product and customer success teams to translate user requirements into seamless, responsive, and safe user experiences.

The ideal candidate has a strong technical background in back-end development and a proven track record of leading and mentoring a team.

Your profile

What you should bring

• Extensive working experience as a back-end developer (Node.js, with particular experience in Nest.js is a big plus).
• Proven experience as an Engineering Manager (more than 2 years) or in a similar leadership role, managing and mentoring a team of front-end developers.
• Demonstrated ability to architect and design modern cloud-based solutions with a focus on security, quality, and maintainability.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze and resolve complex engineering challenges.
• Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• An agile and pragmatic startup mindset: result-focused and great collaboration skills.
• The attitude to always keep learning.
