What You’ll Do
Project Execution & System Integration
- Lead the planning, execution and commissioning of turnkey automation systems across Europe.
- Install, configure, program and validate automation equipment including Vention MachineMotion controllers, MachineLogic, MachineApps and robotics (UR, Fanuc, ABB and others).
- Serve as on‑site technical lead during integrations ensuring safe, efficient and high‑quality deployments.
- Coordinate internal and external project stakeholders to deliver systems on time and to specification.
- Participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and support pre‑sales demonstrations and validation activities.
Customer Success & Technical Support
- Act as the first line of technical support for customers diagnosing mechanical, electrical, software and robot‑related issues.
- Conduct remote troubleshooting sessions, escalating complex cases with full context and ensuring transparent follow‑up.
- Deliver onboarding training and commissioning sessions to empower customers during deployment and long‑term operation.
- Maintain accurate technical documentation, tickets, tagging and root‑cause analyses in Zendesk.
- Starting in 2026 contribute to a 24/7 Support rotation during assigned periods (with an additional bonus).
Continuous Improvement & Cross‑Functional Collaboration
- Identify opportunities to strengthen processes, SOPs and system configurations across Europe.
- Contribute to internal documentation (known‑issue libraries and configuration templates).
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new product releases and provide actionable feedback.
- Collaborate with Product Engineering, Integration and CX teams to share field insights and drive platform improvements.
- Champion best practices in robotics, motion control, industrial communication and automation deployment.
Qualifications

What You Bring
- Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Robotics, Computer or Industrial Engineering
- 25 years of experience in industrial automation, robotics integration or technical support
- Fluency in English and French (another European language is a plus)
- Strong technical foundation with programming experience ideally in Python
- Hands‑on troubleshooting experience (Linux familiarity is a bonus)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- A passion for working with clients and solving real‑world automation challenges
- Willingness to travel up to 15% of the time
