Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Oversee people management duties including recruiting, hiring, and mentoring a team of five engineers. Foster talent development and manage personnel effectively.
• Internal Tooling Development: Manage the development of internal tools in collaboration with key stakeholders such as architects.
• Product Ownership: Serve as the product owner or lead maintainer for internal tools.
• Architecture Participation: Contribute actively to the design and development of overall system architecture.
• Operations and Incident Management: Handle incident resolution, operations oversight, and change management to ensure platform reliability.
• Platform Optimization: Ensure the smooth operation, unification, and optimization of multiple platforms and associated processes.

Skills/Must have

• Agile Approach: Proven experience with modern agile methodologies for software development.
• Management Experience: Demonstrated leadership in both software development and IT platform operations.
• Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of software development, preferably with experience in GoLang.
• Cloud and Kubernetes Proficiency: Extensive knowledge of cloud environments and hands-on experience with Kubernetes.
• Linux and Kubernetes Operations: Skilled in managing IT platforms built on Linux and Kubernetes.
• Language Skills: Fluent in English (spoken and written) and advanced proficiency in German (C1 level or higher).
