About the Opportunity

We are on the lookout for talented Associate Data Scientists to join our 2026 Tech Grad Program. The program offers a unique environment to learn, develop skills, and contribute to cutting-edge tech solutions. You will work with mentors from our engineering teams and have a support group for help and connection.

Our Engineering organization consists of over 1,500 engineers across major verticals including Consumer Data Products, FinTech, Logistics, Pandora, Platform, Quick Commerce, and Vendor Tech. Teams work on topics from boosting customer acquisition and retention to building efficient experiences for our vendors and a robust logistics ecosystem.

Important Information

We are pursuing a new, pilot hiring model for 2026. This job opportunity is temporarily open while we collect applications. If we proceed with your application, you will go through our standard interview process (recruiter call, coding, technical concepts interview, hiring manager interview). If overall feedback is positive, you will be placed in a pool of offerable candidates and contacted for next steps as soon as an Associate Data Scientist role becomes available.

This role will stay open for applications until 6 February 2026.

What you need to be Successful

To be eligible for our program, you must:

  • Have the right to live and work in Germany. Candidates within the EU are also eligible to apply as long as you meet the above criteria.
  • Have (or be graduating from) a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, Data Science or a related field.
  • If graduated, you may have a maximum of 2 years of experience in similar job fields. Coding bootcamp graduates (recent/upcoming) are also eligible to apply and do not need to meet the degree requirement above; please apply if you have a minimum of 6-12 months’ internship/bootcamp experience.
  • Have a good understanding of and direct experience with coding in relevant languages and technologies (from internships, bootcamps, or open-source projects).
  • Be an analytical thinker and strong problem solver with a humble, inquisitive approach.
  • Have good communication and collaboration skills.
  • Be business fluent in English.
  • Be excited about working in a fast-moving, agile company where we learn from our mistakes.
Technical skills we look for
  • SQL, noSQL, cloud services (AWS), data warehousing (BigQuery, Redshift).

Generally, we also expect your curiosity in learning/trying out new technologies.
