Overview
AMZ Advisers is a digital media marketing agency focused on developing and implementing strategic marketing plans for global Amazon marketplaces. Our Account Management team is organized into pods (Senior Account Managers, Junior Account Managers, Apprentices/Interns) to foster knowledge sharing, mentorship, and continuous learning. The role requires strong communication, relationship-building with clients, and the ability to manage multiple Amazon Seller and Vendor Central accounts while mentoring a team.
What You’ll Do
- Manage a client portfolio with growth to 10 clients and strive for high retention.
- Build long-lasting client relationships and manage expectations clearly.
- Develop and track KPIs for all accounts under your portfolio.
- Conduct bi-weekly strategy calls with clients to communicate results and future plans.
- Proactively brainstorm and implement growth strategies on Amazon and manage client expectations.
- Report on account progress and action items; plan and implement or delegate promotional strategies.
- Delegate resolution of client issues by troubleshooting and opening cases with Seller Support.
- Utilize software platforms such as Zonguru and collaborate with other departments to achieve high-level goals.
- Attend weekly or bi-weekly Account Management meetings and participate in daily stand-ups to resolve blockers.
Team and Leadership (Senior AM)
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and strategic oversight for other account managers in your pod.
- Contribute to the development of training programs and training & onboarding for juniors.
- Lead client account audits and collaborate with strategists to implement effective strategies.
- Foster pod collaboration, documentation sharing, and routine check-ins to assess progress.
- Identify upsell opportunities and drive proactive problem solving.
- Ensure swift conflict resolution and proactive client communication and feedback collection.

- Retention rate of clients month to month.

- Quality and frequency of client communications.
- Strategy effectiveness based on performance and feedback.
- Regular follow-ups by seniors to assess client performance.

Qualifications
- B.A. in Marketing, Business Development, Management, or related field.
- 2+ years in client account management.
- 2+ years in digital marketing or eCommerce.
- 1+ year experience with Amazon Seller and/or Vendor Central.
- Ability to build and maintain client relationships; strong active listening.
- Proactive, team-oriented mindset with ability to work independently.
- Creative thinker with willingness to test new ideas and drive growth strategies.
- Strong time management and multitasking abilities.
- Desire to learn new skills.
