A leading aerospace company seeks an AIT Technician for a 9-month contract in the Munich area. The role involves mechanical integration and testing, preparing AIT activities, and collaborating across departments. Qualifikationen

  • Completed mechanical vocational training (industrial, precision, aircraft mechanics, or metrology).

  • Familiarity with 3D (CMM) measurements is highly desirable.

AIT Technician

9-Month AÜG Contract | Munich Area

Are you a hands-on mechanical technician with a passion for high-precision assembly and testing? We're currently supporting one of our leading clients in the aerospace sector who are looking for a Mechanical AIT Operator to join their team for an exciting, cutting-edge space project.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Independently carry out mechanical integration and testing in cleanroom environments (ISO 5 & ISO 8)
  • Prepare, execute, and document AIT (Assembly, Integration, Testing) activities
  • Use tools, metrology, and testing equipment with confidence and precision
  • Collaborate with quality, engineering, and other departments during integration phases
  • Support inspection tasks and issue activity/problem reports
  • Travel to external facilities to support off-site test campaigns
  • Assist in 3D measurement activities (CMM-based)

What We're Looking For:

  • Completed mechanical vocational training (e.g., industrial, precision, aircraft mechanics or metrology)
  • Previous experience in AIT, prototype assembly, or similar hands-on technical environments
  • Ideally, a background in space or high-reliability sectors
  • Familiarity with 3D (CMM) measurements is highly desirable
  • Strong attention to detail, motivation, and ability to work under time pressure
  • Team spirit with good communication skills
  • Good command of English
