This position is part of Novantas Advanced Surgery business unit. Specialized in the field of Minimally Invasive Medicine Advanced Surgery develops devices and accessories so that doctors can operate with small cuts. We produce eg Cameras Insufflators Medical Pumps and tubing that makes diagnosis and treatment easier for everyone. Our insufflators and pump systems dilate cavities in the body and turn previously complicated surgeries into minor procedures. Together with customers doctors and technical experts our teams continuously search for new ways to innovate.

Job Summary

The AI Technology Lead will drive the growth of AI utilization by integrating AI mindset and tooling into the companys traditional workflows. This role will spearhead evolutionary growth and lead the integration of AI-driven functions into existing product lines.

Tasks

Primary Responsibilities

• Lead the dissemination of AI knowledge through training workshops and hackathons.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for leveraging AI solutions.
• Identify new AI tools that would benefit the organization; Work with the team to implement these new AI tools
• Drive the augmentation of AI into business processes.
• Champion the growth of AI knowledge within teams and business units.
• Contribute to the implementation of AI best practices in various functional teams.
• Mentor and guide BU leadership in AI technologies and methods.
• Foster culture shifts towards AI adoption and build synergies between business units.
• Stay abreast of the latest AI trends and technologies.
• Ensure data privacy and cyber security and implement measures to secure sensitive information.

Requirements

Required Experience Education Skills and Competencies

• Extensive experience in AI ecosystems with a requirement for Microsoft ecosystem & technologies
• ideally profound experience in product development
• Strong leadership & resilience communication and problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on experience building dedicated agents/LLMs
• Ability to think critically and creatively to develop AI solutions that provide business value
• CTO experience in a start-up environment would be ideal
• A bachelors degree in computer science engineering mathematics or a related field (a masters degree is preferred).
• fluent English is a must German would be a plus
