Your profile
  • Successfully completed aerospace engineering degree (M.Sc.)
  • Several years of working experience in fluid dynamics, aerodynamics as well as aerothermodynamics analysis preferred
  • Experience with CAD software (e.g. Inventor, CATIA or PTC Creo)
  • Extensive experience with CFD software (e.g. Ansys, OpenFOAM)
  • Work experience in a start-up environment is an advantage
  • Proactive thinking, high level of motivation, flexibility, and team-working skills
  • Proficiency in both German and English

Your mission
  • Analysis of external aerodynamics for spaceplanes for flow regimes from subsonic to hypersonic
  • Analysis of aerothermodynamics for spaceplanes in the hypersonic regime
  • Applying analytical, empirical and numerical methods for the analysis of aerodynamics and aerothermodynamics problems
  • Conduction of CFD analyses in the flow regime from subsonic to hypersonic including preprocessing and postprocessing tasks
  • Analysis of internal nozzle and inlet flows in the frame of air-breathing and rocket propulsion analysis
