Are you either a schoolteacher, a trainee teacher or are you studying teaching and looking for a summer job? Do you hold a teaching degree or a teaching certificate? This job involves more than teaching, as it also includes supervising young people during their free time.

The Job:

Students aged 10 to 16 travel to our centre in Germany to participate in lessons in the mornings, and trips and activities in the afternoons and evenings. The Activity Teacher's role is to deliver quality language classes in the mornings and oversee creative activity programmes in the afternoons and evenings, while ensuring the welfare and safeguarding of students. This is a residential position; accommodation is provided on-site, including all meals.

Requirements:

1. Full-time availability from 01/07/2025 to 17/08/2025 (minimum of 2 weeks)
2. German native speaker or native-level proficiency, eligible to work in Germany
3. Qualification to teach German
4. Professional experience in summer/holiday camps or similar settings preferred
5. Experience and interest in working with children; outgoing personality capable of leading and motivating young people
6. Sporty or creative, reliable, flexible, and open-minded
7. Successful completion of pre-season online training sessions
8. First Aid Certificate (8 hours, valid within the last 2 years)
9. Police clearance or DBS certificate (valid within the last year)

Safeguarding our young students is our top priority. Therefore, all contracts require full ID checks, references, and appropriate police/DBS checks.

Remuneration:

1. Weekly payment of 420 Euros, invoiced in arrears
2. Travel expenses up to 230 Euros
3. Full-board accommodation is provided for the summer season
