The Account Manager Medical East of Germany is responsible for selling Leica Medical Solutions to public and private hospitals/clinics delivering sustainable market share gain and profitable revenue growth. He/She works in coordination with other functional departments (Customer Service, Marketing, Service, HR, Finance and Legal) to align the support required for him/her and the team to meet his/her targets.

This position reports to the Sales Manager Medical Central Europe and is part of the EMEA Medical Team working remotely to cover East of Germany (Berlin, Brandenburg, Sachsen, Sachsen-Anhalt, Thüringen, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern).

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Develop and execute local business strategy according with EMEA guidelines and deliver sustainable growth and significant share win based on a deep understanding of local market dynamics, future trends and competitive landscape.
  • Research and identify opportunities in line with strategic directives to generate sales, increase the installed base penetration, upsell existing contracts and expand the portfolio of solutions sold.
  • Use Danaher Business Systems (DBS) tools, implement Daily Work and Standard Management on Funnel Management and Forecasting.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Numerous years of strategic selling experience in a B-to-B sales environment
  • Prior experience and solid track record in a sales role in medical business.
  • Experience in working in an international environment and matrix organization.
  • Requires experience in sales management, opportunity assessment, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Scientific, Engineering, or related bachelor’s degree required.
  • German and English fluent

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

  • Position requires intensive travel.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
