Hi, Alex and Jeremy here from UMH! Seven years ago, we started a small system integration and boutique consulting company to help manufacturers digitize their production lines. We installed sensors on machines, built dashboards for production managers, and used AI to analyze product quality – all to improve efficiency, quality, and resource use.

Every factory had data – but it was fragmented, inconsistent, and locked inside proprietary systems. There was no open, scalable foundation to build on. So four years ago, we switched gears and founded United Manufacturing Hub, an open‑source industrial data management platform that helps factories collect, structure, and share production data at scale.

  • Lead Discovery & Strategy Calls: Uncover operational and data challenges within manufacturing environments, and align them with clear UMH‑based solutions.
  • Run Demos & Workshops: Lead tailored sessions that showcase how UMH connects machines, structures data, and enables real‑time analytics and AI use cases.
  • Negotiate & Close Deals: Manage complex, multi‑stakeholder negotiations – from technical validation to legal and procurement – while maintaining momentum and trust.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Partner closely with Solution Engineering & Product to ensure a seamless execution.
  • Represent UMH in the Market: Participate in key industry conversations, trade shows, and community events to position UMH as the open‑source standard for industrial data.
YOUR PROFILE
  • Proven Sales Experience: 2+ years in enterprise B2B (experience in manufacturing or industrial tech is a big plus).
  • Negotiation & Communication: Strong negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage confidently with both engineers and executives.
  • Relationship Builder: Skilled at navigating multi‑stakeholder buying processes and maintaining long‑term customer trust.
  • Technical Curiosity: Interest in explaining IT/OT, data integration, and open‑source architectures – bridging the gap between business goals and engineering needs (we provide comprehensive technical onboarding).
  • Results‑Driven Mindset: Motivated by closing deals that deliver real value – you care about outcomes, not just quotas.
  • Team Player: Collaborative, curious, and comfortable in a fast‑moving startup where ideas turn into action quickly.
  • Fluency in German and English
