Underground Scoop Operator — 2 On/2 Off, Remote Camp
Job summary
A gold production company in Saskatchewan seeks a Scoop Operator to transport ore and waste rock. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in hard rock underground mining and a positive proactive attitude towards safety. This role involves operating large trucks and scoops in a remote camp setting, with a schedule of two weeks on, two weeks off. Applicants from all backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
Qualifications
- Minimum two years’ experience working in a hard rock underground mining operation.
- Preference will be given to individuals with experience on mine haulage trucks.
- Operation of manual and remote scoop tram experience will be an asset.
Responsibilities
- Operation of 30- & 40-ton trucks.
- Operation of 2, 4, 6, 8-yard scoops.
- Knowledge of scaling procedures.
