Job summary
A technology solutions provider in Ontario is seeking an experienced Business Analyst. You will be responsible for preparing business requirement documents, analyzing data, and implementing security controls. Ideal candidates should have extensive experience in data analytics, advanced Excel skills, and proficiency in Spanish and English. This role is pivotal in collaborating with various teams and building reporting dashboards for management oversight.
Qualifications
- 9 years of hands-on experience in business requirement documents and data analytics.
- Advanced experience with Excel, including VLOOKUP and pivot tables.
- Proficiency in Spanish and English.

Typical Day in Role: Prepare Business Requirement documents, analyze data and access processes and procedures to deliver recommendations. Work with Identity Access teams in implementing security controls to protect them. Work on different types of projects (from large complex to simple) is a part of your DNA. Collaborate with various business lines, IT support functions and IS&C Control functions. Strong supporter of a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge. Build and maintain reporting dashboards to facilitate regular monitoring by GIAM management team. Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.

- 9 years of hands-on experience in performing business requirement documents, process workflows, use cases, data analytics and preparing communications.
- Advanced experience with Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables).
- Spanish/English proficiency.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint), Power BI, PowerShell is an asset.
- Advanced communication skills (verbal, written, presentation).
- Strong problem-solving skills, collaborating across the organization to solve complex problems.
- Strong team player with ability to collaborate effectively.
- Strong presentation skills.
Post-secondary education in Computer Science or a related field preferred.
