If you join us as our Senior Director, Category Development Supplies, Equipment, and Services, your responsibilities will include:

1. Creating and executing short-, medium-, and long-term category strategies.
2. Developing annual budget plans for category profitability with monthly forecast updates and project initiatives.
3. Achieving financial targets related to income and working capital improvements.
4. Staying current on industry trends to develop new strategic initiatives for sales and profitability growth.
5. Leading and developing a diverse team of senior procurement professionals to deliver strategy and financial results.
6. Overseeing negotiations with suppliers, including contract renewals.
7. Managing relationships with vendor partners, including leadership meetings, site visits, and regular account reviews. Identifying new supplier opportunities as needed.
8. Collaborating with US counterparts to share best practices and develop joint initiatives for North American results.
9. Working cross-functionally with key departments and stakeholders across Foodbuy and Compass.

• At least 5 years of purchasing or senior food service operational experience, with P&L responsibility and a proven track record of results.
• Strong leadership skills to manage and develop a team of senior professionals.
• Ability to manage multiple change initiatives effectively.
• Influencing skills and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
• Excellent negotiation skills.
• Strong strategic planning and analytical skills.
