A design-build firm in Toronto is seeking a Technical Designer or Architectural Technologist to enhance technical quality and coordination. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience, strong CAD and Revit skills, and the ability to mentor a design team. Responsibilities include collaborating on design intent, ensuring quality in construction documentation, and evolving drawing standards. This hybrid position emphasizes clarity, collaboration, and practical creativity in a supportive work environment.
We’re looking for a Technical Designer or Architectural Technologist who lives for the details, the coordination, the satisfaction of a perfectly drafted drawing set. You’ll have your hands in both the work and the systems behind it: creating and managing our technical details and well as our CAD/Revit standards. You’ll also play a key role in strengthening our technical capabilities as we evolve from AutoCAD into Revit.
Design is only as good as the drawings that make it real. This role plays a critical part in improving technical quality, consistency, and coordination — helping ensure our designs are as strong in documentation as they are in concept and construction.
