- Inspection of roof structures to determine the best course of action.
- Provide the customer with an estimate of labor and materials required for roof repair or construction.
- Measure and cut the material to fit snugly around vents, gutters, chimneys and walls.
- Smooth out rough areas of the roof to prepare the surface for new shingles and waterproofing.
- We replace damaged or rotten parts of your roof. Install a vapor barrier and insulation to create a more waterproof seal.
- Safely install ladders, scaffolding and hoists as needed.
- Keep your manager informed of work progress and report any work‑related issues.
- Safely transport all necessary equipment and materials to the construction site.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Valid driver's license.
- State roofer license.
- Experience in roofing or construction in general.
- Working knowledge of different hedging systems. Have good knowledge of trading orders.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and tools.
