- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive asset management strategy aligned with company goals.
- Team Management: Lead and mentor a high‑performing team, fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
- Budget Oversight: Build and manage the annual maintenance and capital budgets, identifying opportunities for cost optimization.
- Lifecycle Management: Oversee asset acquisition, onboarding, disposal, and lease‑to‑own transitions.
- Performance Monitoring: Define and report on key KPIs to support timely, informed decision-making.i>
- Stakeholder Relationships: Manage relationships with third‑party maintenance providers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure optimal asset utilization.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure all maintenance activities meet internal standards and regulatory requirements.
- Innovation & Optimization: Lead trailer rebuild and asset life extension programs, and identify technologies or practices that enhance asset performance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Commerce, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in asset management, including 5+ years in a leadership role.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the trucking or transportation industry.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and industry best practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); Experience with TMT is an asset.
- Proven ability to lead teams, manage budgets, and drive operational improvements.
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with a track record of data‑informed decision‑making.
- Bilingualism in French is an asset but not required.
