Location: North of Montreal, Central Montreal, South Shore

Travel: Spending about 90% of time on the road and going home. No overnight.

Hours: 40 hr. work week + potential overtime.

Base salary: $25 - $40/per hour – based on experience.

Our client is the leading supplier of equipment, systems and service in the food industry, offering the broadest line of equipment including cooking, food preparation, refrigeration, bakery systems, ware washing and waste systems, and weighing, wrapping and labeling systems.

This position interfaces with other Service Technicians, Service Area Managers, Regional Service Manager, Parts Manager and Parts Department staff, Service Dispatchers, Service Data Entry staff and various Branch Sales and Service personnel in the resolution of equipment installations, equipment problems, Customer Relations and at times, Service Administration problems.

• Bilingual French and English (spoken and written)
• Diploma of Vocational Studies (DVS) in Electromechanics or Industrial Mechanics
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and electronic skills
• 2–3 years of relevant experience (asset)
• Must be able to read schematics & manuals in English
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
• Ability to travel to the United States for training purposes
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Well-organized, reliable, self-motivated, and accountable
• Strong customer service orientation
• Able to attend training in Troy and Calgary
