A major pension services provider in Victoria is seeking a Service Management Co-op. This role is ideal for 3rd and 4th-year Computer Science or Engineering students and offers valuable experience in IT Service Management processes. Responsibilities include participating in service delivery and utilizing tools like ServiceNow. The position supports a hybrid work model, providing flexibility for learning and development through various programs and resources.
Open to students registered in a recognized co-op program only (Within the Greater Victoria area)
The Information Technology Service Operations branch (ITSO)provides IT services to BC Pension Corporation, specifically design, delivery, operations and support of Modern Workplace Solutions (business solutions based on SaaS and COTS Applications), IT Infrastructure (server-side and endpoint compute, storageand networking, both on premise and cloud), and IT Operations (ITIL aligned services, such as Service Desk, End User Support, Incident and Change Management, etc.).
As a Service Management Co-op, you will join a fantastic team that has ownership of a Service Management tool used by over 600 employees. This role will introduce you to many facets of an IT department and allow you to participate in several key processes. You will have the opportunity to wear many hats, including:

This opportunity is open to 3rd and 4th year Computer Science or Software/Computer Engineering students and graduate students in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields. Students in their 2nd year and above from other colleges in similar disciplines are also eligible.
