Position: Senior Developer/Lead (ODI/Snowflake)

Location: Cambridge, Canada

Working Days: 5 Days a week, Hybrid (3 Days Work From Office, 2 Days Work From Home)

• Designed and developed interfaces to load data from multiple sources like flat files into Oracle database, and DB to DB connections.
• Developed packages and scenarios using interfaces, variables, sequences, and procedures.
• Worked with Oracle Data Integrator components: Topology, Designer, and Operator.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Snowflake and ELT processes.
• Debugged master jobs and packages using the operator navigator.
• Worked with knowledge modules such as LKM, IKM, and CKM.
• Knowledge of Changed Data Capture (CDC).
• Familiar with Work Repository tables.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team with strong problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills, self-motivated, quick learner, hardworking, and responsible.
• Used ODI commands such as OdiFileMove, odiFileAppend, odiFileCopy and SQL upload, etc.
• Implemented SCD type 1 and SCD type 2.
• Involved in unit testing at various levels of ELT flows.
• Knowledge of OLTP/OLAP systems, Star schema, and Snowflake schema.
• Knowledge of fact and dimension tables and slowly changing dimensions.
• Experience in SQL for creating DDL and DML commands.

• Strong experience with Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) and Snowflake.
• Experience designing and implementing ELT processes and data integration workflows.
• Proficiency in SQL, DDL, and DML; experience with data modeling concepts (fact/dimension, SCD).
• Experience with unit testing and validation of data pipelines.
• Good communication and collaboration skills; ability to work in a hybrid environment.
