Job summary
A leading finance firm in Canada is seeking an experienced Accountant to support the Financial Department. This role involves preparation of accounting entries, balance sheet reconciliation, and budget analysis. The ideal candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and strong communication skills in English and Mandarin. Knowledge of SAP is an asset. This position is essential in maintaining accurate financial records and facilitating internal stakeholder relationships.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is essential.
- Familiarity with SAP software is beneficial.
- Strong communication skills in both English and Mandarin are required.
Responsibilities
- Prepare period-end journal entries and associated working papers.
- Support balance sheet reconciliation and analysis.
- Assist in year-end audit preparation for external auditors.
- Declare taxes according to local tax laws.
- Conduct annual and monthly budget analysis.
- Develop systems/process improvements and actionable solutions.
