Job Duties:
- Prepare and cook full meals or specialty dishes based on the menu
- Oversee daily food preparation and cooking activities in the kitchen
- Develop and update menus and recipes according to seasonal availability and customer preferences
- Ensure food quality, portion control, and presentation meet the restaurant’s standards
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, food costs, usage, and sales
- Estimate food and supply needs and place orders to maintain inventory levels
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards to ensure a safe and organized kitchen environment
- Supervise and coordinate the work of cooks and other kitchen staff
- Train cooks and other kitchen employees in food preparation techniques, kitchen procedures, and safe food handling
Job requirements:
- Experience: 2~3 years of commercial cooking experience are required
- Education: Completion of secondary school is required
